First, using a static eliminator during blow off prior to finishing
eliminates static charges on surfaces that hold and attract airborne
dust particles and which result in fisheyes and blemishes in final
finishes. When the surface is blown off with an Ionix, there are no
static electricity charges on the surface to hold or attract dust.
If you blow off wood surfaces WITHOUT a static eliminator, the force
of the compressed air blowing across the surface CREATES static on
the surface. This static attracts any dust in the air to the
surface.
Secondly, using a static eliminator reduces the labor time necessary
for blow off surfaces since static won't be present to hold dust to
surfaces.

Ionix Static Eliminators are simple to install
You do not have to use a special hose or air gun to use Ionix. Ionix
Static Eliminators can be installed ANYWHERE in the blow off air
line. Ionix fits standard 3/8" ID air hoses.
If you have only one air line shared for both blowoff and painting,
when you're ready to blow off the surface, attach the Ionix Static
Eliminator to the end of the air hose. Blow off and then
remove the Ionix Static Eliminator from the air hose and re-attach
the paint gun to the air hose when your ready to paint.
If you have a dedicated air line for blowoff, you can install the
Ionix Static Eliminator at the line drop after the regulator. Ionix
does not need to be at the end of the air line to be effective. The
length of the air hose Ionix is installed on does not diminish its
ability to dissipate static on the surface.
