Sanding wood creates friction, and friction charges both the wood surface and the dust it produces with static - so dust clings right back to the surface you just cleaned. Simply blowing it off with compressed air doesn't fix this: air is also an electrical insulator, so blowing it across the wood actually creates more static, and the suspended dust just settles back down and sticks. The result is blemishes in your finish. Ionix eliminates that static in the blow-off line itself, so dust stays off the surface.

No special hose or gun required. Ionix fits any standard 3/8" ID hose and works anywhere in the blow-off line - it doesn't need to be at the end of the hose to be effective, and hose length doesn't reduce its performance.
